About Us

 

Utah Bowls is owned and operated by Scott Leech. Scott was a Construction Manager at the University of Utah. Scott has been working with wood for most of his life. He has a passion for fine woodworking and the finesse that goes is needed in working with this natural, renewable resource.

 

Trees are removed for a variety of reasons, sometimes to accommodate renovations or construction projects, other times the tree may be at the end of its life cycle or damaged by disease. Rather than sending the trees that are removed to the landfill Scott enjoys revealing the natural beauty of the wood that is beneath the bark and sharing that discovery with others.
